神奈川県横浜市出身
京都造形芸術大学美術工芸学科（現・京都芸術大学）卒業
絵画を軸に、国内外で活動。
鮮やかな色彩と多文化的要素を融合させた表現を特徴とし、旅先で得た記憶や文化、現地の技法を作品へと取り込む。近年はチェコビーズに着目し、絵画的な視点からビーズをコラージュするブローチ作品を展開。平面と装身具の領域を横断する独自の表現として評価されている。
これまでにフランス・パリのカルーゼル・デュ・ルーヴル、アメリカ・ニューヨーク、イギリス・ロンドンに加え、ドイツ・ロストックでのアーティスト・イン・レジデンスなど、海外における展示および滞在制作を行う。韓国にてアジア芸術賞を受賞。ワークショップの開催なども含め、活動は多岐にわたる。
2025年にはパフォーマンスユニット「TriArte」を結成し、ライブパフォーマンスなど表現領域を拡張。テレビ番組出演などメディア露出も増加している

Minami Nakamura｜Artist
Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.
Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design (formerly Kyoto University of Art and Design), Department of Fine Arts and Crafts.
Nakamura is an artist whose practice centers on painting, characterized by vivid color and the integration of multicultural elements. Drawing from her travels, she incorporates memories, local cultures, and traditional techniques into her work.
In recent years, she has developed a distinctive series of brooches using Czech glass beads, approaching them with a painterly sensibility. By collaging beads as if composing a canvas, her work expands across the boundaries of fine art and wearable objects.
Her career includes exhibitions and artist-in-residence programs internationally, including Paris (Carrousel du Louvre), New York, and London. She received the Asia Art Award at the World Art Design Festival in Korea.
In 2025, she co-founded the performance unit “TriArte,” further expanding her practice into live performance. Her work has also gained media attention, including television appearances.
